Description
All That Grows Between is an exploration of the quiet, interconnected world that exists beneath our feet and all around us. This piece blossomed into a vibrant celebration of growth, transformation, and the unseen ways life continually reaches toward life.
A gathering of mushrooms, mosses, foliage, and organic forms emerges from a deep black ground, illuminated by expressive strokes of pink, turquoise, violet, gold, green, and soft white. Rather than depicting the natural world exactly as it appears, unexpected color and movement capture something more felt than observed: the energy, individuality, and interconnectedness present within every living thing.
Much like a forest floor, where countless organisms grow independently while quietly depending upon one another, All That Grows Between reflects on the connections that shape our own lives. We each grow in different directions, at different rhythms, and through different seasons, yet none of us exists entirely on our own. There is beauty in what grows visibly, but perhaps just as much in everything happening between.
A crescent moon watches over the composition, lending the piece a dreamlike quality and inviting the viewer into a world somewhere between the familiar and imagined. Layered brushwork and luminous highlights bring each form forward from the darkness, creating a painting that feels vibrant, whimsical, and alive.
Original artwork carries the subtle textures, brushstrokes, and variations that make a handmade piece entirely its own.
