“Portals, Pathways, and Persistence” explores the tension between chaos and continuity—the interplay of darkness, uncertainty, and the quiet persistence that carries us through. A flowing white line threads its way through layered fields of matte and metallic tones—black, bronze, sienna, and grey—sometimes dipping into shadow, sometimes emerging stronger, yet never ceasing its forward motion.

This piece reflects a release of perfectionism and an embrace of process. Each twist, mark, and textured layer became an act of surrender—a willingness to let the work unfold freely, imperfectly, honestly.
